About Me

Working for so many years at your typical pizza joint, or messy clothing store, working long hours for that measly $300 paycheck every two weeks was rough. I thought there had to be something better out there. I had a just few more years of college left until I could graduate and get a "big girl" job, so I had to find something that would pay the bills in the meantime. Serving was the best decision I made!

Working in this business you get to see A LOT! You deal with all types of different customers, and no shift is alike. In fact, each one will always leave you with an interesting story to tell, but most of all, its good money. The pay can be unpredictable at times, depending on how much traffic your restaurant is generating, but one good night at work could be more than you make in a whole week at most part time jobs.

Serving is not for everyone. It takes a certain personality type and lifestyle to succeed in this business, but there are definitley ways to help your chances of getting the most out of each of your shifts. Hopefully my experiences, and the knowledge that I have learned working in a restaurant will help you as much as it has helped me.

Enjoy!
